Plantronics Wireless "Laptop" Headset: The included snap on headset attachments, allow you to wear it multiple ways.  Over either ear (like a cell phone bluetooth headset - and includes  3 different size ear loops), over the head, or with a loop behind your head. You have a 150 foot radius to move around your computer while you dictate, without getting tangled up in wires. The unit has battery power for 5 1/2 hours, but we include an optional charger base with a replaceable battery so you always have a charged battery ready to snap in.  This gives you unlimited dictation time. It is easy to use at the office, or on the road. $255.

Dragon Wireless Headsetthree snap on headsets

Plantronics Wireless "Desktop" Headset: This has the same features and quality as the "Laptop" headset above, but this model lets you dictate into Dragon, and with the same headset, talk on your desk phone and your cell phone.

An included battery is always charging in the base, so you never run out of power! $340

 NaturallySpeaking Wireless Headset

Sennheiser wireless: Worn over the ear ( it can be switched to wear over either ear).  It has a very comfortable ear loop that is properly balanced to make it comfortable to wear all day.

It also features the ability to charge a spare battery, which can be swapped, while in conversation, for continuous talking without interruptions.

This is a dual mode wireless unit, that can be used as a Blue tooth microphone, to connect with the computer. That is especially convenient for use with tablet laptops with a 30 feet range. It can also be used as a 900 MHz microphone, allowing the user to be up to 300 feet away from the base, while talking to the computer or on the phone.  $345

Desktop Microphone

 desktop headset for Dragon

This USB Microphone is brand new.  I just tested it and I am amazed  (Mark's review)

To test it, I set it on the desk about two feet from my mouth and created a voice profile with Dragon Medical Practice Edition (Dragon version 11 engine).  I then  opened Microsoft Word, started to dictate, and the recognition was perfect!

It was unbelievable to have the microphone that far away from my mouth, and still working perfectly.  Then I wondered how well can it deal with background noise.

I set a TV 8 feet away, with the TV's speakers faced right towards me, at the save height as my mouth.  I set the TV's sound level a little louder than I normally would.  I tuned in a talk show to simulate background conversation.  I dictated, and again perfect recognition!

I then set the TV to full volume.  This time, I was getting interference.  It was putting in extra words I didn't say, and the recognition was about 50%.   I couldn't work in that loud of an environment, but again amazed that Dragon was understanding anything.

There is a button on the top of the base to turn the microphone on and off.  $69

Wired Headsets

Dragon Wired Headset

Mono Headset: This headset provides excellent noise canceling features, that cut out background noise. This microphone has an excellent microphone element, that has been certified to word with Dragon NaturallySpeaking.  It also has a very bendable microphone boom. This is an extremely important feature, that allows you to correctly position the microphone element at the exact corner of your mouth.  That feature might appear to be an obvious requirement, but many headsets have a stiff unbendable tube holding out the microphone element.  Or they have a tube that will not stay in the position you place it in.  This headset allows you to correctly position it, providing the best possible recognition.  $33

stereo headset

Stereo Headset:  Same headset as the one above, but has an extra earpiece for stereo sound. Having this extra earpiece can also make wearing the headset more comfortable and keep the headset from rocking back and forth on your head $33

over the ear

Over the Ear Headset: This wired headset is very lightweight, and as accurate as the full size headset. It comes with several size snap on ear clips, to comfortably fit your ear. You can reverse it to wear over either ear.  $15

lightweight headset

Lightweight Headset: This wired headset is also very lightweight, and features an over the head band wearing style.  This headset rests against your head without covering your ear.  Does not have a speaker, so is perfect for laptop usage or PCs with speakers. $15

  Dragon Hand held microphone

Hand held Microphone:, is a corded microphone, that you hold in your hand to dictate. It is especially effective for those needing to dictate during quick breaks during the day. Because it is hand-held, you just pick it up, start talking, and set it down when you are done. No need to adjust a headset, or put a headset on or off. It has a noise canceling microphone, roller ball mouse, and buttons which can be programmed to do different functions. $263

Bluetooth

Blue tooth headset: Certified to work with Dragon. Noise-canceling headset.  It includes a Blue tooth USB Adapter and Charger.  Adjustable for use on your left or right ear. Perfect for use with a laptop or desktop PC. It provides up to 33 feet of unwired coverage, and up to 8 hours talk time.  $194

Digital Recorders

Use these digital recorders to dictate from anywhere. When you return to your computer, you can directly transcribe your dictation directly from the recording through Dragon, right into your document.

This way you can be productive from anywhere, in the car, going between offices, stuck in traffic, at the beach, anywhere. It is extremely helpful, to dictate a "mind dump" into the recorder after leaving a patient, meeting, or clients office. You record all the details while they are fresh in your mind, and have those notes directly transcribed for use in letters, e-mails, Electronic Record Systems, To Do lists, or just general notes.

 Sony Digital Recorder

Sony Button Recorder: Dragon tested all the different brands and models of digital recorders.  Sony recorders always are on top of the list for their superior  transcribing ability of your dictation.  Plus, the Sony recorder software integrates right with the Dragon software, to make it the easiest recorder to use.  $142

Sony slide
Sony Slide Switch Recorder: The recorder has a slide switch on its side which controls all its operation. The slide has four positions, Record, Stop, Play and Rewind. This makes using this recorder very easy.  This unit did not get quite as high a ranking for accuracy, (it received "Five Dragons", which is the highest any other digital recorder received besides the button recorder above). $292

USB adapter

USB Soundcard: Especially with laptops, but also may apply for your desktop PC, their internal soundcards are fine for playing music through their speakers.  But their microphone inputs provide terrible sound quality, which results in poor recognition for your use with Dragon. This adapter plugs into a USB port on your PC, and the microphone plus into it.  This bypassing the computers soundcard, providing superior recognition for your dictation. $50

Besides these microphones, we also carry the following brands:
